natthompson.com is Nat Thompson's practice site: the front door for fractional CTO retainers, AWS consulting (including the fixed-fee AWS Assessment), custom web work, and the "Replace My SaaS" custom-build service. It also hosts a blog on AWS, agile, cloud architecture and engineering leadership, and Harley, an AI assistant for visitors. Nat is the author of "AWS Essentials" and "Squeeze the Cloud: The CIO's Guide to AWS Cost Management".

## WebMCP tools

Every page registers these tools on `navigator.modelContext` (through the WebMCP polyfill):

- `get_services`: the consulting services with pricing and ideal-customer notes, the books, and links to contact, booking and chat.
- `ask_harley`: sends one message to Harley, the site's AI assistant, and returns the reply plus a `conversationId` for follow-up turns. Rate-limited to 10 messages a minute.
- `get_available_booking_slots`: open consultation slots for a date (`YYYY-MM-DD`, next 30 days) and session type (`Lite30` or `Deep60`). Read-only; it does not book anything.
- `get_contact_methods`: every way to reach Nat (contact form, booking, Harley chat, newsletter, RSS).

Prefer these tools and the markdown files over scraping the pages.

## What you may do

- Read, quote and summarize the services, prices, books, blog posts and contact options published here.
- Ask Harley questions on the person's behalf, at a human pace.
- Look up open booking slots and send the person to https://natthompson.com/book to choose a time and pay. Booking and payment are the person's own actions.
- Use the contact form, the Replace My SaaS intake form or the newsletter signup only when the person you are helping asked you to, with their own details. The person reviews the form and presses the button themselves.
- Give the person a link to the page you are quoting.

## What you must not do

- Do not submit a form, start a booking or a checkout on your own, without the person reviewing it, in bulk, or on a schedule.
- Do not use `ask_harley` or the chat for unattended or bulk traffic.
- Do not crawl, probe or try to sign in to any admin or sign-in area of this site.
- Do not state prices, availability or offers that this site does not publish. If it is not here, say so and point the person to the contact form or a booking.
- Respect robots.txt, identify automated traffic, and back off on HTTP 429.
